Diehl Named WIAC Swimmer of the Week

Madison, Wis. - University of Wisconsin-La Crosse junior Matt Diehl of Prairie du Sac (Sauk Prairie) has been selected the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Swimmer of the Week, the conference office announced Tuesday.

Diehl placed second in the 200-yard individual medley (2:04.85), third in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:01.25) and fourth in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:19.71) at the Cows, Colleges and Contentment Classic in Northfield, Minnesota November 8.

UW-L returns to action Friday, November 14 at UW-Oshkosh at 6 p.m.
