Riley Named WIAC Field Athlete of the Week

Madison, Wis. - UW-La Crosse senior Bobby Riley of Wittenberg (Wittenberg-Birnamwood) has been selected the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Men's Field Athlete of the Week, the conference office announced Tuesday.

Riley won the discus throw (173-7) and shot put (55-2 3/4) at the Wartburg College Select Meet April 3-4 in Waverly, Iowa. He automatically qualified for the NCAA Division III Championship in the discus, while provisionally qualifying in the shot put.

UW-L returns to action Friday, April 10 at the UW-Platteville Invite at 3 p.m.
