UW-L Falls to Carroll

La Crosse, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse soccer team fell 1-0 to Carroll University (Wis.) Saturday afternoon at Fields for Kids. UW-L drops to 1-2 on the season while Carroll improves to 2-1.
Kaitlin Roy scored the only goal of the match at 57:12 with an assist from Kylie Ringelstetter.
Carroll outshot UW-L, 22-16, including 10-2 in the second half. Ramsey Weyenberg and Sarah Harrington each tallied three shots on goal for the Eagles.
Ashlee Reinke recorded six saves for the Pioneers while Amanda Clark finished with five for the Eagles.
UW-L returns to action Wednesday, September 10 hosting city-rival Viterbo University at 6 p.m. at Fields for Kids.
