Hall Scores Winning Goal in Second Overtime

La Crosse, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse soccer team earned its first win of the season with a 1-0 double overtime victory over Simpson College (Iowa) Friday afternoon at Fields for Kids. UW-L now leads the all-time series, 4-2-1, with Simpson.
The Eagles improve to 1-0 while the Storm falls to 0-1-1.
Chelsea Hall scored her first goal of the season at 104:00 to give UW-L the win. Cayla Duffy and Erin Wilson notched assists.
UW-L outshot Simpson, 31-9, including 9-2 in overtime. Amanda Clark had five saves in goal to record the shutout.
Whitney Franker finished with 12 saves for Simpson.
UW-L returns to action Saturday, September 6 hosting Carroll College (Wis.) at 4 p.m. at Fields for Kids.
