Von Glahn Named WIAC Pitcher of the Week

Madison, Wis. - UW-La Crosse senior Kaylyn Von Glahn of De Soto (H.S.) has been selected the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Pitcher of the Week, the conference office announced Tuesday. Kaylyn Von Glahn

Von Glahn went 2-0 with a 2.19 earned run average in four appearances last week for UW-L. She earned wins over UW-River Falls April 17 and UW-Stout April 18.

Von Glahn pitched a complete-game in the victory over the Falcons, going 7.0 innings, allowing three hits and two unearned runs while striking out four. She then went 4.0 innings in the win over the Blue Devils, allowing one hit and one walk with three strikeouts.

For the week, she pitched 16.0 innings, allowing 12 hits, seven runs (five earned) and two walks with nine strikeouts.

UW-L returns to action Wednesday, April 22 at Luther College (Iowa) in a non-conference doubleheader starting at 3 p.m.
