Gray and Koch Earn WIAC Honors

Madison, Wis. - UW-La Crosse junior Danielle Gray of Sturtevant (Washington Park) and sophomore Samantha Koch of New Berlin (West) have been selected the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Women's Swimmer and Diver of the Week, the conference office announced Tuesday.

Gray won the 100-yard butterfly (59.43) and 200-yard individual medley (2:14.15) in UW-La Crosse's 181-57 dual meet win at UW-Whitewater Feb. 7.

Koch took the one-meter (215.80 points) diving competition and placed second in the three-meter (220.90) event in the Eagles' dual victory at UW-Whitewater.

UW-L returns to action Thursday, Feb. 19 at the WIAC Championships in Brown Deer, Wisconsin.
