Bohrman Named WIAC Singles Player of the Week

Madison, Wis. – UW-La Crosse senior Carlie Bohrman of Oconomowoc (H.S.) has been selected the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Women's Tennis Singles Player of the Week, the league office announced Tuesday.

Bohrman won a pair of matches during the week, including the clinching victory in UW-L’s dual win at UW-Eau Claire Oct. 16. She defeated the Blugolds’ Erin Welch at No. 4 singles (4-6, 6-2, 6-4). Bohrman earned a win at No. 2 singles in the Eagles' victory at UW-Stout Oct. 17, defeating the Blue Devils’ Abby Werwie (6-1, 6-1).

UW-L returns to action Saturday, Oct. 24 at the WIAC Tournament at the Nielsen Tennis Stadium in Madison.
