Schetter and Fondow Compete at Kansas Relays

Lawrence, Kan. – UW-La Crosse's Caitlin Schetter and Katie Fondow completed action at the Kansas Relays Saturday in Lawrence.

Schetter placed sixth in the long jump with an NCAA Division III Outdoor Championship automatic qualifying mark of 19-1 1/2. She provisionally qualified in the triple jump with a 13th-place finish (37-3 1/4).

Schetter also competed in the 100 and 200-meter dash preliminaries this weekend. She was 19th (12.30) in the 100 and provisionally qualified for the national meet while finishing 16th in the 200 (25.46).

Fondow placed 10th in the long jump with an NCAA III provisional qualifying mark of 18-1 1/2. She was also 17th in the triple jump (36-1 1/2).

UW-L returns to action Tuesday, April 21 at the Wartburg College (Iowa) Twilight Meet.
