UW-L Competes at UW-Oshkosh Open; Schetter Wins Two Events

Oshkosh, Wis. – The UW-La Crosse women’s track & field team competed at the UW-Oshkosh Open May 10. No team scores were recorded at the meet.
Caitlin Schetter won two events for the Eagles, taking the long (19-0 1/2) and triple (37-6) jumps. Krista Kopetsky was second in the long jump (18-1) while AnnMarie Glejf finished second in the triple jump (37-1 1/4).
Other finishers in the long jump included Ashton May placing fourth (17-8 1/4) and Katie Fondow fifth (17-8). Jessie Schulz placed sixth in the triple jump (35-8 1/2) while Fondow was seventh (32-0).
On the track, Chris Claussen finished second in the 100-meter hurdles (15.26).
UW-L returns to action Thursday, May 15 hosting an NCAA Qualifier at 4 p.m.
