We look forward to you joining our class of 2019. Please follow the steps outlined below so that you are prepared to join our campus community this coming fall.
Next steps for admitted new freshmen:
1.) Submit the $100 Enrollment Deposit. Housing information will be sent to you a few business days after you complete this step. Please note: The enrollment and housing deposits are fully refundable upon written request to cancel admission prior to May 1.
2.) Complete the Incoming Freshmen Checklist that was sent in the mail.
3.) Apply for scholarships by February 15.
4.) Join our UWL admissions online community!
Placement Testing information will be mailed to every admitted student in February. All admitted students are required to submit placement test results prior to Freshman Registration in June.
Freshman Registration & Family Orientation in June
Admitted new freshmen for fall and summer who have submitted the $100 enrollment deposit will receive information in early May about the Freshman Registration & Family Orientation program. Admitted new freshmen for spring who have submitted the $100 enrollment deposit will receive information in November about Freshman Registration
Fall 2015 new freshmen will be able to sign-up for a date to attend Freshman Registration & Family Orientation after the packets are mailed to home addresses. Freshman Registration at UW-La Crosse is a one-day program offered on several different dates in June. At Freshman Registration, incoming freshmen and their families will receive information about attending UW-La Crosse and academic advising to assist students in selecting their first-semester courses. Other Important Dates to Consider
Housing and roommate assignments will be sent in July, and fall semester new student orientation information will be sent in early August. Move-in day is typically the Friday and Saturday before Labor Day, with classes beginning the day after Labor Day.
