Students must sign up in advance to attend the event. Attending the event is required for all incoming new freshmen. Date sign-up will occur on a first-come, first-served basis. Dates will close when we reach the maximum number of students we can accommodate. If a date is closed, you will need to select a different date.
The Admissions Office mailed event materials on April 16 to all students who had submitted the $100 enrollment deposit. If you have misplaced these materials, please print the materials we mailed from the list below.

Which event date is best to attend?
There is no 'best' date. Select a date that works in your schedule and allows you to spend the entire day with us. We have steps in place to open seats in classes throughout the Freshman Registration dates to ensure a wide variety of classes for all students to select - including those attending the final days. There will be enough classes available to create a beneficial schedule for your first semester no matter which date you attend.
How do I sign up for a Freshman Registration & Family Orientation date?
Please review page six of the program for sign up instructions. Students must submit the $100 enrollment deposit before selecting a date to attend. Dates will close once they reach the maximum students we can accommodate, and date sign-up occurs on a first-come, first-served basis. Please keep several dates in June open on your schedule to attend Freshman Registration. Freshman Registration & Family Orientation is a full-day event, and you will be required to stay until the end of the event (approx. 4:00 p.m.).
Sign-up occurs on the student's WINGS Student Center. If you have lost your access information to login to WINGS, please reset your password.
Troubleshooting: If you are following the instructions on page six of the program and are experiencing issues accessing the Freshman Registration link, we recommend you use a different Internet browser. Depending on the version of the browser, browsers such as Internet Explorer have issues navigating the WINGS Student Center.
Why did I not receive a confirmation email stating that I signed-up for a date?
You will not receive a confirmation email. A confirmation box will pop up when you select 'save.' This is your confirmation message.
As stated on page six of the program, "A confirmation box will open when you click ‘save’. Please make sure that you turn off any pop up blockers. Print or save this confirmation for your record. This record indicates you have successfully signed-up for a date."
What if I cannot attend Freshman Registration and Family Orientation?
Attending Freshman Registration and Family Orientation is required. Please arrange your schedule so that you sign-up as soon as you receive the mailed packet. This will offer you the largest selection of dates.
How do I sign up for Placement Testing?
Follow the steps outlined on the Placement Testing Information guide. We mailed this document to all admitted students. To make sure we receive your scores in time, take the Regional Placement Tests by June 1.
What if my family members cannot attend with me?
While we welcome family members to this event, only you (the student) are required to attend.
How do I prepare for Freshman Registration and Family Orientation?
Why are classes beginning to appear in my WINGS Student Center?
To ensure registration in key
courses for your major, you may see a partial schedule begin to appear on your
WINGS Student Center before Freshman Registration and Family Orientation; however, you will not have access to
the scheduling process until your registration day. At the registration session,
you will complete your schedule with additional courses selected by you and/or
recommended by your advisor.
