Group Information Sessions
Information Sessions are one-hour presentations by
an admissions counselor designed to give an overview of UW-L and
the new freshman admissions process. These sessions are
followed by a one-hour walking tour of campus,
led by a member of the Vanguard organization.
Group Information Sessions are available on selected dates
during the fall and spring semesters.
Make a reservation online.
Please note: Summer Group
Information Sessions begin July 1.
Visit options fill quickly during busy campus visit seasons (early-April, late-July, and August) and reservations should be made at least two weeks in advance.
Campus tours, lasting approximately one hour and led by a member of the Vanguard organization, are available at 11:00am and 2:15pm, Monday through Friday, during the school year while classes are in session. During the summer session, tours are offered at 11:00am only, Monday through Friday. Admissions counselors are available to answer questions at the conclusion of your tour. Make a reservation online.
Please note: Campus tours are not offered May 13-31. Summer tours are offered in the morning beginning June 3.

Individual Appointments for New Freshmen
Individual appointments with admissions counselors are available from September through June and are designed for prospective students who are unable to attend a Campus Close-Up or a Group Information Session. We also encourage you to go on a campus tour during your visit to campus. Make a reservation online.
Transfer Student Appointments
Individual appointments with a transfer
admission counselor are recommended for
prospective transfer students. (Prospective
students are students who have not applied and
have not been accepted for admission.) Meeting
will include information about the application
process and admission guidelines. Make a reservation online.
Admitted transfer students who have questions regarding registration and academic advising are encouraged to contact the Dean's Office for the College to which they are assigned. (See your admission letter if you are unsure.) Please do not schedule an individual appointment to meet with a transfer admission counselor. Visit the Admitted Transfer Students webpage for a listing of College contacts.
Special School/Group Visits
Special school/group visits and tours should be scheduled through the Admissions Office by calling (608) 785-8939.
We encourage you to visit us at least once, and we hope to see you on campus soon!
