Location

Camps are held on the UW-L campus, located in a residential area of the city. All entrances to La Crosse have directional signs to campus. La Crosse is easily accessible via car (I-90), bus (Greyhound), train (Amtrak) and plane (Northwest, American Eagle and Skyway).

Located in the Mississippi River Valley, La Crosse is a popular vacation spot that offers many activities for campers and their families. Motel accommodations within the city are excellent. Private and public campgrounds are close by as well.

Insurance

All camp participants are covered by UW System limited insurance for injury sustained during supervised camp activities. UW-La Crosse is not liable for medical expenses incurred that are not covered by this insurance policy, and encourages participants to have their own health insurance.
