UW-L Competes at Karl Schlender Last Chance Meet

Whitewater, Wis. – The UW-La Crosse men’s track & field team competed at the Karl Schlender Last Chance Meet Friday night at UW-Whitewater. No team scores were kept.

Jessie Dengsavang was the Eagles' top finisher, placing second in the triple jump (46-6). Anthony Hasse was fourth in the triple jump (42-6).

In the pole vault, Jeremiah Burish tied for fourth (15-0 3/4) while Andrew Brueggen was seventh (52-10 1/4) and Aaron Johnson eighth (52-10) in the weight throw.

On the track, Jamar Jackson placed fifth in the 55-meter hurdles (7.91).

UW-L returns to action Saturday, March 8 at the Pointer Qualifer at 10 a.m.
