UW-L Falls at Loras

Dubuque, Iowa - The UW-La Crosse soccer team fell 4-0 at Loras College Wednesday night in a non-conference match-up. The Eagles are now 2-6-1 on the season while the Duhawks improve to 6-4-1.

Loras outshot UW-L, 18-9, including 10-4 on shots on goal.

Kate Young scored three times for Loras, including the first goal of the match at 1:48 with assists from Holly Wilson and Dolly Duffy. She then scored at 10:01 to make it 2-0 assisted by Wilson and Kelly Murphy. Young finished her hat trick with an unassisted goal at 18:55.

Lisa Waltz tallied the Duhawks' fourth goal with an assist from Hillary Reed at 78:23.

Emily Wick recorded six saves for UW-L while Taylor Hunsberger had three for Loras.

UW-L returns to action Saturday, Oct. 3 at UW-Eau Claire at 2 p.m.
