This council serves as a communication link among the students, faculty, and the dean to voice students’ concerns as representatives of the various business clubs, organizations, and major departments within the College of Business Administration.
   

American Marketing Association

Students from a variety of majors interested in enhancing their professional, communication, and networking skills join AMA. It offers an opportunity to interact with peers, participate in group activities that develop marketing skills with hands-on experience, and interact with the business community.
   
Beta Alpha Psi

Beta Alpha Psi is an honor society for accountancy students that helps them develop professionally and intellectually. Guest speakers help students understand the accounting profession.
   

Beta Gamma Sigma

 Membership in Beta Gamma Sigma is the highest national recognition a student in business can receive. To be eligible for membership, students must rank in the top seven percent of their junior class, top ten percent of their senior class, or top twenty percent of their master’s class. In addition, the college must be accredited by the American Assembly of Collegiate Schools of Business International.
   

Delta Sigma Pi

Delta Sigma Pi is a professional business fraternity, limiting its membership to students majoring in business. Founded to help students gain experience in the professional world, Delta Sigma Pi offers opportunities for leadership development and professional networking, as well as a chance to build friendships that will last a lifetime.
   

Financial Management Association

The Financial Management Association is an organization that facilitates the development of knowledge regarding economic and financial based careers. Through FMA, members will be given the opportunity to explore aspects of today’s financial world and interact with several financial industry leaders and their organizations. FMA is open to any CBA student, but is tailored toward students majoring in Finance and Economics.
 

International Business Organization

The purpose of the International Business Organization is to work with the common interests of all international business majors and minors on the UW-La Crosse campus. The objectives are: to provide learning and social groups; organize and participate in international conferences; bring in guest speakers; advise; serve as liaison with the International Student Organization and foreign language department; and develop friendships among international students.
 
Information Systems Association (ISA)

The Information Systems Association (ISA) provides University of Wisconsin-La Crosse (UWL) students the opportunity to expand their knowledge of the Information Systems field.  Members will enhance their learning through guest speakers, member presentations, field trips and group activities designed around Information Systems.  The ISA will provide a key medium to network with prospective employers about careers and internship opportunities relevant to Information Systems. 
 
 

Society for Human Resource Management

Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) is a student organization, for all majors, that promotes knowledge of the working world through speakers and activities. Throughout the semester, SHRM provides speakers from campus and the community, including keynote speakers, and speakers from area businesses. SHRM also promotes learning through activities such as business tours and fundraising.
