The University of Wisconsin-La
Crosse’s Campus Activities Board (CAB) is proud to present
Colbie Caillat as the 2008 spring concert on May 1. The
concert will be held at the Recreational Eagle Center
starting at 7pm with opener Jason Reeves.
With her acoustic guitar in hand,
Colbie induces the same gentle and spirited style of her
musical influences John Mayer, Bob Marley and Lauryn Hill.
The 21-year old California native says that inspiration
comes from many different places: her family, friends and
reflections on her own life. This singer/songwriter has a
taken the music industry by storm by growing an enormous fan
base only on word of mouth to bring to life her first hit
song “bubbly.” Recently Colbie has released
another song off her album “Coco” called “Realize,” which
can be heard on many major radio stations around the
country. |
