To be happy. To be a writer, to help women, to have great female friends, to be a mentor, to be a poet, to finish the book Wuthering Heights, to see Tori Amos in concert, to always remember to laugh and to love.
Words to Live By:
Too many to choose from, but I like "If you look upon everyone you meet as a holy man, you will be truly happy."
Favorite ATP Memory:
The whole process of rehearsals. Stopping and starting, rewriting, reworking. It's the hardest part, but the part where we bond the most, and learn the most. All I can think of is Privilege Uncovered, Lore, Amanda, Beth, Mao, and I staying late to make that scene work. And we did it!
When I think of Awareness through Performance, I think of...
Changing lives. Even if it's just one scene, we're getting people to think, and that's a lot, creating open mindedness.
Involvement with ATP has had this impact on me:
I've met some of the most amazing people ever! I've loved working with every group, and seeing how so many different people can work together to create a show that is meaningful and humorous too. I've gotten to be a leader, as well as quite the learner. It's an amazing feeling.
