Professional Attire for Job Fairs and Interviews

What is your first impression?

·         Good first impression.  Professionally dressed.

·         Pros- looks like a professional suit, good dress shirt and tie.  Cons – the pants look a little too long and it looks like he has a tag on his left sleeve. 

Is this appropriate for a career fair?

·         Yes, it would make a very positive impression and show that you are serious about finding a job.  It shows that you take the job search seriously and know how competitive the job market is.

Is this appropriate for an interview?

·         Yes, a suit is very appropriate for an interview.

What is your first impression?

·         This is way too casual for an interview. 

·         Nicely dressed and leaves a good impression.

Is this appropriate for a career fair?

·         Yes, it is acceptable for a career fair but not for an interview.

·         Yes, this is appropriate for an interview at our facility.

·         Wow, this shirt is way too loud and is not professional.

Is this appropriate for a career fair?

·         Yes, it is better than jeans and a sweatshirt.

·         This is nice, professional attire.  She looks well put together.  The bright shirt underneath is a little much, but acceptable.  I would rather see a blouse that is a lighter color for an interview.

·         Yes, it shows she is serious about finding a job.

·         Yes, she looks professional.

·         Dress is too short

·         This is not appropriate attire for business purposes.  She looks like she is getting ready to go out on the town.
