- Use your social security number whenever you are asked for your student ID number. UW-La Crosse will assign you a student ID number once you are accepted into the graduate program however, until that time your social security number will act as your student ID number.
- Nonrefundable. The $45 application fee and the $100 tuition deposit will not be processed until class locations have been confirmed. Class locations must have a minimum of 20 registered students to be confirmed. Once a class location is confirmed, checks and/or credit cards will be processed and fees then become nonrefundable. - Most financial aid is directly applied against your charges on your student account. Once financial aid is applied, it will appear on your tuition bill.
- UW-L will not disburse financial aid paper change checks from the Cashier's Office.
- Incoming students for the academic year will have a multi-functional student identification card, called the Tower OneCard, mailed to them at the beginning of the semester.
- With the Tower OneCard, financial aid change checks are delivered to you in the way that you choose. Once you receive your Tower OneCard, you must log on to www.uwltowerone.com to activate your card. Activation is required to access the library and to obtain any financial aid change checks from the university. Therefore, it is important that you activate your card immediately upon receipt to avoid any delays.
