Physical Education Teaching Option

Program Curriculum

The Graduate Physical Education Teaching program is a 32-credit curriculum that enables students to select either the thesis or non-thesis option. Both options are comprised of Required Research Courses, Required Core Courses and Elective Courses.

Thesis Option
The thesis option encompasses six credits of Research Courses and the successful completion of a master’s thesis, under the direction of a graduate faculty chair and a thesis committee. Students interested in completing a thesis are encouraged to discuss their interest with the Program Director.
