"The person who removes a mountain begins by carrying away small stones."
This program provides an overview the links between hoarding behaviors and other mental health issues in the elderly. Participants will identify the warning signs and diagnostic criteria for hoarding disorder, including several tools used to assess the severity of hoarding. Additionally, participants will learn about the treatment options available.
The program is designed to help participants to develop empathy for behaviors that we all have to some degree, and learn ways to help our aged family members, friends, neighbors, or clients to live healthier lives.
