Programs offer special learning opportunities for retirees

Singers

January 26, 2010! Put this date on your calendar and join the LIR Singers for a semester of song. We will meet at 3:30 p.m. each Tuesday at the home of our new director and accompanist, Pauline Connell, 927 Cliffwood Lane. In case of snow, we will meet in the Parish Center at Blessed Sacrament Parish, 130 Losey Blvd. S. As in past years, we will be singing for La Crosse nursing homes and assisted living facilities and any group that invites us whom we can accommodate.

In addition, we will sing at the Holiday Social on Friday, Dec. 18. There will be a practice on Tuesday, Dec. 15 at 3:30 for this event. All singers: please call Pauline if you plan to come to the practice and will be able to sing on the 18th. We sing in unison; you don’t have to know how to read parts. All LIR members are welcome.
