About the sponsors:
Chileda is a residential and day school and treatment center for children from all over the United States (located in La Crosse, Wis.) Established in 1977, Chileda is a recognized leader and resource for the Upper Midwest. Its service delivery model is integrative and comprehensive, based on behavior, sensory, and communication intervention for children and youth.
UW-La Crosse Continuing Education and Extension provides professional development opportunities and program services to western Wisconsin. Its programs include the Autism Spectrum Disorders Certificate offered for undergraduate/graduate credit or Continuing Education Units (CEUs). UW-La Crosse is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists.
Credit Option:
UW-L is offering one Graduate academic credit in conjunction with this conference. Dr. Carol Angell, Associate Professor, Special Education Program in the Department of Educational Studies is the instructor. Credit requirements will include but are not limited to full conference attendance and a daily learning log. There is a special course fee charged in addition to the tuition to cover meals.
