Target Audience: K-12 Educators

Today educators face many challenges as they work to prepare students understand the rights of human beings around the world. Knowledge of this will allow students to function effectively as citizens of a global community.  One of the goals of this conference and course is to provide participants the tools to meet this challenge. Participants will actively engage in sessions that provide new methodology, ideas and concepts that will inspire change within their classrooms that will assist their students in become more effective global citizens. Participants will use this newly acquired knowledge to develop a new lesson related to the conference theme.

Wisconsin Teaching Standards:  #1, 4, 6, 7, 9, 10
