The Common Core Standards for Mathematics call for clarity, coherence and rigor in the classroom. This course encourages teachers to continue examining instructional practices that support and scaffold student learning. Through the lens of the Standards of Mathematical Practice, teachers will learn and apply strategies for adding more coherence to mathematics in their own classrooms. Since this course is held in conjunction with the Wisconsin Mathematics Council's Annual Conference, participants must attend two days of the conference and complete additional assignments.
Conference fee is separate and in addition
to credit tuition fee.
