Target Audience: K-12 Technology & Engineering Education (TEE) Instructors, WTCS instructors

This course is being offered in conjunction with the Wisconsin Technology Education Association’s 45th annual conference held on March 6th and 7th, 2014. The general sessions will feature presentation by Bill Preller, Senior Director for Case IH and Vincent Canino, Vice President of Trane. Both presentations will focus on different aspects of training today’s students to become contributing members of tomorrow’s workforce. Course participants will attend the conference general session, participate in sectional presentations and visit the exhibition hall. After attending the conference, all participants must develop a new classroom activity for TEE. The lesson or activity should be based upon the knowledge and skills gained by their conference participation. Submitted activities will be posted in the secure section of the association’s website so that they can be shared with other participants.

  • Creating education partnerships
  • Automotive technology, Manufacturing techniques, and STEM education
  • The Wisconsin TEquity Project
  • Design and construction techniques for high mileage vehicles
  • New strategies for delivering Technology and Engineering Education
