You may attend one or all of them; however, you will need to register in advance as these classes fill quickly.
History and Missions of the U.S. Civil Air Patrol
The Civil Air Patrol was founded by Congressional Charter on Dec. 1, 1941. The La Crosse Squadron was organized by Col. Clarence McCall and Captain Roy Kumm, both working for Heileman Brewing Company, three days after Pearl Harbor. The Squadron has been active ever since. The 84 current members, all volunteers, have three missions: Search and Rescue, Aerospace Education and Cadet Programs.
