Registering from one of our classes/workshops/conferences has never been easier! Choose from one of the Registration Options below:

Use our convenient and secure online registration form. Please Note: not all
programs offer online registration. If you do not find the program you want to

Registration for Credit Programs
New Students
You will be required to complete the
Special Student Application form and the
Installment Credit Agreement form and submit it along with a *nonrefundable
$100 tuition deposit to:

*The $100 will be applied to your semester tuition fees.
Please note: Summer tuition is due in full at the time of registration.
Current Students
By using UW-La
Crosse’s online registration system (TALON) you will be able to get
immediate confirmation that your registration has been processed. Any past bills
must be paid before the student will be allowed to register on TALON for the
summer session. Pay by credit card on the Web site or send fee payments to the

Allow 3-5 days for the Cashier’s Office to process your check before beginning TALON registration. The TALON system is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week (except Mondays and Wednesdays 7-8 p.m. and Sundays 8-10 a.m.). If you have difficulty using the system, please call the registration help line at 608.785.8755 between 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Monday-Friday.
You will need your student identification or social security number and your PIN. Your PIN will be the month and day of your birth if this is your first time accessing the TALON system. You will be required to change your PIN the first time you use the system. Remember the number you choose because you will use it each time you enter the system. time accessing the TALON system. General Information
Confirmations:
A registration confirmation will be sent approximately one week before the
program begins.
Cancellations:
Cancellations for non-credit programs must be made in writing and sent to
Continuing Education/Extension at continuinged@uwlax.edu. A full refund will be granted if a cancellation
notice has been received seven days or more prior to the start of the program
unless otherwise stated in the programs registration brochure.
Cancellations for credit courses must be submitted in writing to Continuing Education/Extension at continuinged@uwlax.edu. There is a $100 fee for cancellations less than 24 hours prior to the start of a credit course. Once the course begins, refunds are prorated according to UW-La Crosse guidelines. Please visit the Cashier's Office for more information. We reserve the right to cancel courses due to low enrollment.
Parking:
Permit and metered parking on campus is controlled from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
Monday-Friday. Commuter lots and metered parking are free evenings, weekends and
holidays.
For non-credit programs, a permit and lot assignment will be included in your confirmation letter.
For credit classes, permits may be purchased at Parking & Protective Services.
