Learning Community of Artists: Best Business Practices Program
This program is designed to empower visual artists from all disciplines to take the next step in building sustainable art businesses. The program is a discussion rather than lecturebased format and teaches both theory and hands-on skills with an emphasis on adult, interactive learning. The community of artists stays together through the year to support and learn from each other. Licensing Renewal Support Center
UW-La Crosse of Education and Office of Continuing Education and Extension have been awarded a Wisconsin Department of Instruction grant that allows them to establish a Licensing Renewal Support Center (LRSC). UW-L is one of sixteen sites in Wisconsin to be named a LRSC. The primary purpose of the Center is to provide PI 34 license renewal-related services to various licensed educators not employed by Wisconsin public schools. The secondary purpose is to provide assistance to licensed Wisconsin educators who wish to renew their license using a professional development plan in 2008 and 2009.
