TESTING INFORMATION

UW-L Counseling & Testing Center is a member of NCTA.

The UW-L Counseling & Testing Center subscribes and upholds the National College Testing Association's Professional Guidelines and Standards for test administration.

The UW-L Counseling & Testing Center is a participant in the NCTA's Consortium of College Test Centers for proctoring distance learning exams. We are an approved test center for most distance learning programs. If you need an exam proctored, click on the CCTC logo above for more information or follow this link to our NCTA CCTC entry.

Online Registration - For your convenience, the University of Wisconsin La Crosse Test Center now offers fast and secure online registration for these exams:

• CLEP
• MAT
• Proctored Distance Learning Exams, either computer based or paper/pencil exams
• ACTFL-Language Testing International Oral Proficiency Interview and Written Placement Tests for teacher certification in Wisconsin.

There is $3 surcharge from RegisterBlast, our online payment processing provider. The payment options for registering online are Visa, MasterCard or electronic check. All online registrations are final and no refunds will be given.  We will reschedule your exam once for free, if you contact the test center in writing at least 24 hours before your scheduled exam.

If you are registering a family member for a test, please fill in all information areas with the participant's information rather than your own name, email address, etc. We are aware that the credit card or checking account used for payment may not be in the participant's name.

Upon successful registration, you will receive an email confirmation. Print your confirmation receipt and bring it with you on your test date.

IMPORTANT: If you do not receive an email confirmation, there may be a problem with your registration or you did not enter a valid email address. If you do not receive an email confirmation, check your spam blocker.
