SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION FOR STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES

Students with disabilities should always begin their search for scholarship and other financial aid information through the Financial Aid Office (608-785-8604) and the University Foundation (608-185-8487). The purpose of identifying the following references is to provide the student with information specific to scholarships for students with disabilities. Such information may be accessed through printed resources and the Internet via the computer.

UNIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIPS:

UWL Financial Aid Office will have general information about scholarships (located in 215 Graff Main Hall)

UWL Disability Resource Services maintains a file with some specific scholarship information for students with disabilities (located at 165 Murphy Library).

  • White Cane Scholarship (for persons who are blind or visually impaired).
UWL Murphy Library has the "Eagle" computerized library search system. Utilize the "key word search" on Eagle with such words as "disability & scholarship."

UWL Academic Discovery Lab can access scholarship information on the Discover computer system. Staff will be available to assist you (located in lower level of Wilder Hall).
