Classroom Design & Modernization
Educational Technologies provides conceives and designs classrooms, digital commons, and learning spaces for the campus. The unit develops plans for new as well as existing spaces. Special attention is paid to current trends in teaching and learning, and blending these with effective and efficient learning space design criteria and strategies.
Staff members work closely with faculty and administrators to ensure their teaching and learning needs are matched with effective room design and educational technologies. Innovative and emerging technologies are carefully evaluated and researched for potential integration on the campus.
Educational Technologies is closely linked with EDUCAUSE, and in particular with ELI (EDUCAUSE Learning Initiative) and the Learning Space Design Constituency Group.
