Teaching For Diversity (TFD)
TFD is a community of faculty and academic staff dedicated to improving how well we teach students from many underserved populations, and to addressing the issues that faculty from underrepresented groups face as instructors.
TFD meets the second Wednesday of the month in the CATL Meeting Room from noon to 12:45ish.
Our discussions usually proceed from an essay the group has read prior to each gathering. See the schedule for meeting dates and topics.
Our website serves UW-L by collecting links related to understanding the diversity of both students and faculty. See the navigation bar on the left for more information.
For resources on Inclusive Excellence in teaching and learning, see the CATL Inclusive Excellence website.
