Committee on Academic Policies and Standards (CAPS)

Minutes for 01/21/05

Faculty Members Present:  Jac Bulk, Adrienne Loh (Chair), Gary MacDonald, Marcie Wycoff-Horn

Guest/Consultants: Carla Burkhardt (SAH), Amelia Dittman (CBA)

1. The meeting was called to order by chair Loh at 1:05 p.m.

2. A motion was made (MacDonald): Go into closed session to hear student appeals (seconded by Bulk). A roll call vote was taken, and motion carried 4-0-0.

3. The committee heard one appeal from SAH and one from CBA, listed below in that order. In each case the standard motion was made: to approve the student’s appeal.

Student #2                    appeal not approved                 0-0-4

4. The meeting was adjourned by Loh at 1:45 p.m.
