Minutes of the Instructional Academic Staff Committee

Present:  Sue Anglehart, Phil Bice, Bonnie Bratina , Kay Dailey, Peggy Denton, Kerrie Hoar, Sandy Koster,

Absent:    Don Socha, Michael Durnin

1. We are off of the Senate agenda.  The earliest we could present our work is March 23, 2006.

2. We have agreement on the final wording of the titling and career progression documents.  There are questions regarding the funding source. 

3. Given the questions raised at the Open Forum, the workload policy as written does not address some major concerns.  The committee decided not to send the workload policy as written to the Senate.  A document will be created that lists the components of a workload policy, suggested language and questions that remain.

4. Kerrie will send around a draft report.
