Faculty Senate Hearing Committee Final Report

2007-2008 Academic Year

Three hearing committees were formed to hear two non-renewal and one tenure-denial cases from three different departments.  Due to the confidential nature of the meetings and hearings of the committee, no additional information about specific cases is contained in this end of the year report.  Chancellor Gow accepted the recommendations of all three hearing committees.  As Chair of all three committees and member of the hearing committee in the two previous years, I was asked to and did submit my observations and recommendations to the Ad Hoc Committee for Departmental Bylaws revision and standardization and Faculty Senate.  For a copy of that document please contact me at maher.marg@uwlax.edu.
