Jennifer Terpstra, BFA program representative
discussed the proposal to create the Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) program.
Documentation was well organized and sufficiently detailed for APC members
to make a reasoned recommendation on the new program. Questions were raised
on the matter of whether the program was a 120 credit program given 69 BFA
credits and 48 Gen Ed credits. There may be additional course requirements
added by CLS. There may be compatibilities issues with the CLS core.
MSP recommendation to Senate to approve.
Chair Senger anticipates forming recommendations
with respect to the charge to review on-line courses at the next meeting.
