Chair Sandy Grunwald called the meeting to order at 12:05 PM.


I.                    Sandy reported that she had presented the APR’s recommendations regarding the role of the Provost the Faculty Senate, who approved it.


II.                  Sandy also announced that Environmental Studies program review would be discussed at next week’s meeting, which will now be Friday, February 26.


III.               James Longhurst and Omar Rivera presented the program review for Recreational Management and Therapeutic Recreation.  The committee applauded their thoroughness of the report, and after much discussion, approved the report.


The motion was to accept the APR report for Recreational Management and Therapeutic Recreation with the stated changes (included a few additional statements that were removed by the committee, plus a final edit by James).


Motion passed 8-0-0.


IV.               Georges Cravins presented an update of the review on the Department of Health Education and Health Promotion.  He requested the committee read over the information, but that he will be reformatting this information to reflect the format required presenting to Faculty Senate.


V.                  Prior to closing the meeting, Sandy announced again that Environmental Studies will be next week and PT will be in 2 weeks.


Meeting adjourned at 1:00 PM.
