  1. Meeting was called to order by Chair Kathryn Birkeland at 4:00pm
  2. Approval of minutes from September 17, 2009 meeting                                             M/S/P
  3. Briefing on November 18th Academic Initiatives Referendum; handout distributed
  4. Motion that a faculty sponsor cannot score their students’ grant proposal and that the average score for a proposal will be used for comparisons.                                               M/S/P
  5. The committee moved into closed session to discuss undergraduate research grant proposals as provided in section 19.85 (1)(c) of Wisconsin statutes.
