UW-System program planning and review procedures can be found at

The standard process, involving the two steps of entitlement to plan and authorization to implement, is listed on this page and can be found at

This page also lists an expedited process which can be found at

Both the standard and expedited proposal review documents include flowcharts indicating the sequence of events involved in approving requests (stages 1 - 4). Some years ago, UWL prepared flowcharts based upon the UW-System flowcharts that provided the details of our campus level review of proposals. These flowcharts can be found at
The first of these documents details the steps in stage 1. The UW-System flowchart numbering has subsequently changed and is no longer consistent with our local flowchart. The second flowchart for stage 2 is still consistent with the UW-System flowchart. The UWL flowcharts are still useful if they are understood as intended to provide the details of the campus level review.
In the 2006/07 academic year the committee conducted a study of certificate programs at UWL. A discussion of that study is contained in the final report for that year. The following document indicates the certificate programs in existence at that time.
