Student Employment
Many students enjoy the benefits of working part-time
while going to school. Working part-time is a great way to assist with
paying for the cost to attend college. Part-time work also helps
students to improve their time management and organizational skills,
while they are gaining valuable work experience.
It must be noted that it is important for students to maintain a balance
between the at work hours and the number of credits taken in a given
semester.
Job Board
The Job Board provides information on part time job
opportunities and acts as a central clearinghouse for student employment
both on and off campus.
Federal
Work Study
The Federal Work-Study (FWS) program provides part-time jobs
for undergraduate and graduate students with significant financial need,
allowing them to earn money to assist with their educational expenses.
Non-Work Study Student Help
All UWL students enrolled for official university credit
toward a degree or certification program are eligible to apply for
on-campus student help positions.
Graduate Assistantship
Graduate students interested in assistantships should apply
directly to the Dean of their respective college.
