Acceptance into the CLS program is competitive as internship positions at affiliated locations are limited.  Even though a student may meet the minimum requirements, their acceptance is not guaranteed due to program size limitations.  Qualified applicants will be interviewed in March and offers of admission, alternate admission and rejection will be made by the end of March. Classes in the Clinical Laboratory Science Program will begin that upcoming Fall.

Affer acceptance to the CLS major, you will be required to make a separate application for acceptance in the Clinical Phase at one or more of the accredited hospital programs affiliated with UW-L. The application for the clinical phase is submitted early in the Fall semester, and you will be notified if you are accepted in the same semester.
