A program open to all students entering grades 1-8, this program meets for five weeks, two days a week in the afternoons. Students are provided transportation from their homes to the local library.
To celebrate the completion of the program, the group will go on a special field trip. For more information, please view our S.M.A.R.T. brochure and S.M.A.R.T. flyer.
Application Process: Please complete one of the following applications online: SMART Registration Form (English) or SMART Registration Form (Spanish). Paper format is also available: English and Spanish.
NOTE: If you are applying for SMART and you are going to 6th grade in the fall or you are either in middle or high school, you also need to fill out the following for SMART: DPI form (English) or DPI form (Spanish). Deadline to apply for S.M.A.R.T. 2014 is Friday, May 9 by 5 PM.
Space is limited. Incomplete applications WILL NOT be considered. Applications received after deadline will be put on waiting list.

Program description: The Mississippi River Summer Adventure – Advanced Camp is a residential, week long program for students entering grades 9 through 11.
Application process (Introductory & Advanced): To apply, please complete the MRA registration form (English) or Formularios en espanol.
NOTE: Please include a copy of the student’s grades for the 2013-2014 school year (1st & 2nd quarters, at minimum). Deadline to apply for MRA 2014 is Friday, May 9 by 5 PM.
