A program open to all students entering grades 1-8, this program meets for five weeks, two days a week in the afternoons. Students are provided transportation from their homes to the local library.
SMART 2015 Dates: June 8 - July 7th. To celebrate the completion of the program, the group will go on a special field trip. For more information, please view our S.M.A.R.T. brochure and S.M.A.R.T. flyer.
To apply, please complete one of the following applications online: SMART Registration Form (English). Paper format is also available: English and Spanish.
NOTE: If you are applying for SMART and you are going to 6th grade in the fall or you are either in middle or high school, you also need to fill out the following for SMART: DPI form (English) or DPI form (Spanish).
Deadline to apply for S.M.A.R.T. 2015 is Friday, May 8 by 5 PM. Deadline extended for students in grades 5-8 (Friday, May 22 by 5 PM).
Space is limited. Incomplete applications WILL NOT be considered. Applications received after deadline will be put on waiting list.

Program description: The Mississippi River Summer Adventure – Advanced Camp is a residential, week long program for students entering grades 10 through 12.
MRA 2015 Dates: Introductory (July 20-24) and Advanced (July 26-31). To apply, please complete the MRA registration form (English) or Formularios en espanol.
NOTE: Please include a copy of the student’s grades for the 2014-2015 school year (minimum GPA requirement is 3.0).
Deadline to apply for MRA 2015 is Friday, May 8 by 5 PM. Deadline extended for eligible GEAR UP students (Monday, June 1st).
