    Room 25 - SMARTboard Room

    Seats: 20

    Use: The Smartboard located in Murphy Library Room 25 is available for faculty use before 6 p.m. on weekdays. Advance reservation is required, and Smartboard tools (pens, eraser, key) must be checked out with a UW-L ID from the Reserves desk for a loan period of three hours.

    After 6 p.m. and on weekends, students may use the room and tools without a reservation. Please visit the Murphy Library Reserves desk to check out the room key and tools.

    Please note that to use the Smartboard, you must have Smartboard software installed on your computer. Laptops with the software installed are available for checkout at the Murphy Library Reserves desk.

    Use: Library meetings, or as a base for a library-related forum. Open in evenings as a group study area, but classes will have the first priority.

  • Walk-In Tours during opening week

    The library offers fast, no-registration tours for students, faculty, and staff during the first week of the semester. 

    Tours start in the library lobby at 12:00 noon every day of opening week, September 2, 3, 4, and 5. 

    The tours last about 20 minutes and cover the basic layout of the library, useful services, library collections, and tips to effectively use the library. Everyone is welcome to participate in these informal tours.
