Professional STEMSS Societies and Organizations with Educational Outreach Materials

Many societies and organizations have been founded on providing a venue for scientists, engineers, mathematicians, and other professionals to meet and discuss advances in their fields. Professional STEMSS societies provide discipline-specific information, journals, support, conferences, and other services. Some discipline specific professional societies, governmental agencies, research institutes, and other organizations also provide educational outreach materials to PK-16 teachers and student and the general public. Professional societies, such as The American Association for the Advancement of Science, have also developed educational programs specifically designed for educational outreach (e.g., see Project 2061).
