| About
me:
Professional: My
job as Collection & Resource
Development librarian is to
maintain and grow the
Library’s collections in
response to what is taught
at our university. In order
to do this, I work closely
with campus faculty, assess
user needs, create
collection policies, define
funding requirements,
supervise expenditures,
select resources,
periodically evaluate the
collections, transfer
materials, de-select
materials, analyze resource
sharing trends, and preserve
materials for the long run.
Personal: When not
working in the library you
can find me: doing research,
biking in the Swiss Alps, at
the hockey rink, learning
about wine, or reading a
darn good mystery.
Other: Played
football for Lou Holtz at
the University of Minnesota and have good friends in the
rock band Collective Soul.
I am also finishing a
doctorate in education from
the
University
of
Minnesota.
