Murphy Library Endowment: Making a Difference

Maintaining the level of excellence expected in our academic community creates challenges for today's university libraries.  In 1989, Murphy Library at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse established an endowment fund to support and enhance the special needs of the Library. Help make a difference in the 21st century!

The Library has identified four major categories for endowment support: collection development, equipment, programming & development, and facility & environmental needs. The Endowment Fund is a pledge of excellence, shared by donors, who believe that the Library is a central part of the teaching and research mission of the University, and an important educational and business resource in the community.

Gifts are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law as applied to the circumstances of each donor. The Fund is administered by the Library Department's Endowment & Recognition Committee, and is managed by the UW-L Foundation.
