To register to vote at the polls on Election Day, you must present a document that verifies/ contains your name and local address. Examples of acceptable documents are:

  • Current and valid Wisconsin Driver’s License or Wisconsin ID.

  • A government-issued document. 

  • A utility or telephone bill no more than 90 days old.

  • Bank statement which includes your current address. Your bank statement from Higher One or another banking facility is an example of this type of document.

  • Residential lease which is effective for the period that includes Election Day.

  • Students can also print an enrollment verification form from the WINGS Student Center. This option requires you to be sure your local address is up to date with the university before printing the enrollment verification form.
