Faculty Development Grants
The UWL Faculty Development Committee (FDC) awards grants to support the professional development of faculty and instructional academic staff and projects intended to improve teaching and learning. There are three types of grants:
- Teaching Innovations - to try out new teaching strategies and approaches
- Scholarship of Teaching and Learning
- Professional Development

Deadlines for 2009-2010 Faculty Development Grants
- Friday, September 26, 2008: Professional Development and Scholarship of Teaching and Learning Grants due in your College Dean’s office. Dean’s signature not required for Teaching Innovation Grants.
- Friday, October 3, 2008, NOON: 1 complete original paper copy is due in the Provost/Vice Chancellor’s office and email 1 complete copy, in Word or PDF format, to grants@uwlax.edu.
